Security at our libraries is of vital importance. Huge sums of cash from overdue books are on site and hardened criminals who frequent these establishments can sometimes be heard speaking in a voice other than a whisper or even taking a call on their cellphones.
To combat this crime-wave, the municipality has decided to erect a hut outside libraries where a security guard will be stationed.
Visitors to the library who don’t park exactly between the lines in the car park can expect to serve time in the guard house!
