DEAR Editor,-
I get my copy of the Herald early on a Thursday morning and would get serious withdrawal symptoms if one day it was not there. I hurry to the store, get my beloved Herald and ‘disappear’ from society for a few hours – much to my family’s joy because it keeps me quiet for a while!
I get down to reading my precious paper from front to back and re-read it to complete my entry for the ‘Where’s our Wally?’, I then try to get it back into a good enough shape for the rest of my family to read or else I get into BIG trouble.
Thank you to all the great columnists, journalists, the editor and all staff members. Thank you for giving up most of your precious time for us readers out there. Believe me, you just don’t know what Thursdays mean to me – Yes! It’s Herald day!
The South Coast Herald is so many things to so many people – It is informative and we get to learn about everything relevant. We shed a tear about loved ones lost, we read about people we know and others who make the news. Thank you to all at the Herald and I would like to take the opportunity to wish you all a wonderful and blessed Christmas and New Year. Keep up the excellent, dedicated work that each and every one of you do for us daily.
At the same time I want to say to each and everyone at our beloved LSC SPCA – thank you for the never-ending hard work for our furry friends. A big ‘woof’ from my ‘gang’ and I. Keep it up – you are definitely the ‘best of the best’.
