OPINION: ‘Small changes make big differences’

We only have one chance to make a good impression.

DEAR Editor,-

As a business owner I constantly take note of the shoddy appearance of our towns and wonder what small changes could be made to make it more attractive to investors and tourists.

I couldn’t help but shake my head in disbelief at the hand-painted signs on the face-brick wall of the public toilets on the main road through Port Shepstone.

It is apparent that the mayor and municipal manager have no pride in their town.

Guys … get out of your offices and open your eyes. We only have ONE chance to make a good first impression.
