DEAR Editor,-
I wish to send a special thank you to the staff who were on duty in the casualty department at Margate Netcare Hospital,on the night of January 17.
Our friend Dorothy Jones had a heart attack and Hannah Hattingh, Pumi Dlezi and Zanele Mkhomo were on duty. The outstanding care given to Dorothy by these three members of staff was awesome. They treated her with respect and love and fought for many hours to save her. Thank you for letting me stay with her and for the comfort you also afforded me.
Unfortunately Dorothy died in Durban. Thank you again for maintaining her dignity and treating her like the special lady she was.
