DEAR Editor,-
Ugu District Municipal manager DD Naidoo’s clarification and proof that the post was a fake (Ugu damns racist post as a fake – SCH February 17) was by explaining that: 1 He was in a meeting that day; and, 2 “I have not had any conversation with any of my three area managers for more than three weeks.”
No wonder Ugu is in such a mess!
If he has not spoken to his managers for ‘over three weeks’, how the hell is he supposed to know whats going on in the field?
That is what senior managers are supposed to do. Speak to their staff (area managers) on a regular basis and correlate strategic plans to implement the smooth and efficient running of the business and check that these plans are being carried out.
