Five WTH moments of the week

Ever scrolled past a post on social media and gone ‘what the hell!’ and sat there dumbfounded? SHONA AYLWARD shares her list of world-gone-mad moments from the past week.

Number 1:

Kidnapped German sailor is beheaded

Someone please tell me which year I am living in? Didn’t barbaric acts like chopping off heads happened like a couple of centuries ago?

The only difference nowadays is that this stuff is filmed, putting a new spin on ‘horror movies’.

This non-fiction story sent chills down my spine this week.

Abu Sayyaf extremists in the Philippines released a video showing the beheading of a German hostage after a ransom deadline lapsed over the weekend.

The 70-year-old sailor was caught in the conflict in southern Philippines.

Kantner was captured in November when the group intercepted his yacht off the southern Philippines and shot his 59-year-old wife Sabine Merz after she fought back. Her body was left on the boat.

Worryingly, there are still some 20 other hostages taken by the Abu Sayyaf group.

Margate man drowns puppy in his kitchen sink

THIS story is just SICK beyond words.

WTH is wrong with you, Mr Sicko?! An innocent puppy? Why don’t you pick on someone your own size?

This piece of low-life scrum needs to be named and shamed, and never own another animal in his life.

The drowned puppy.

Giant shitzu of  ‘The Neverending Story’ mysteriously washes up on shore

https://metro.co.uk/

It appears many strange things, of late, are happening in the Philippines.

Scientists have identified a furry beast-like carcass recently washed up on a beach in Cagdainao in the Dinagat Islands as a whale, this is according to The Daily Mail.

However, the 20-foot long body, which appeared to be covered in white hair, bore a striking resemblance to  a giant Shitzu.

Weird and strange – this story caught my attention!

Let’s hope (and pray) that giant shitzu is flying somewhere out-there among the stars.

Number 4:

The ‘camel toe’ look is apparently the ‘in thing’

Attention ladies – wearing an artificial pad shaped like camel toe is NOW seductive and sexy.

WTH! What next? I couldn’t image anything more uncomfortable to wear.

I beg someone to run a poll to see if men actually find this a turn-on.

I’m sure the feedback would be rather interesting.

In fact, I can bet that this would get the thumbs down.

Number 5:

Aliens that have banned humans from returning to the moon

The growing conspiracy theory suggests that there are alien bases on the dark side of the Moon, this is according to the website, The Mystery Vault.

Some conspiracy theorists claim the Moon is now out of bounds to humans. Photo: Moon-NoGoGETTY

In a feature devoted to the theory, conspiracy theory website Ancient Code said: “Have you ever asked yourself why mankind has not returned to the moon in recent years?

“According to many researchers and Ufologists, the American space agency is hiding a sinister secret from society, and we are not familiar with everything that has occurred—and is still occurring—on the surface of the moon.

Blahblahblah…  I don’t believe man has ever visited the moon.

But that’s debate for another day!
