DEAR Editor,-
I am hoping that the photo I took two weeks ago might generate some information through the media as to the future of the ‘bird hide’.
This hide was removed from Marina Beach estuary on the pretext of it having a new home on the banks of the Mpenjati Nature Reserve, but during a recent visit to Mpenjati with a local bird club, it was distressing to see the hide deposited on a grass verge in the middle of nowhere!
Nowhere near the water – the purpose for which it was constructed.
We would really appreciate some feedback on its future.
