Horrific, to say the least.
A Freedom of Information request submitted by the Mirror shows that between 2011 and 2016, London had nearly 1,500 cases of the devastating crime, which burns the skin and leaves victims cowering from their injuries.
The article written by Connor Balough for the website: www.prntly.com, said that last year alone, there were 431 such acid attacks – a rise of 170 cases from the year prior.
Globally, roughly 80 percent of victims tend to be women. Attacks are often carried out by vengeful men who have had their marriage proposals or sexual advances rebuffed.
However, acid attack charities in the UK estimate that British victims are predominantly men, at roughly 71 percent of victims.
I don’t understand how anyone could do this?
Not only is the damage to their faces and bodies irreparable, but the psychological damage is for life.

The couple do not appear to notice that they are being filmed as they are both facing away from the camera.
What madness! And this the kind of stuff that makes news now days.
I personally totally think couples should not have sex in public places!

A woman reportedly posted photos on Facebook of her baby on a leash eating what appears to be dog food.
WTH! This is just so wrong on so many levels.
What made me more concerned was if this is what she’s happy to post on Facebook then what is she doing behind the scenes that nobody knows about? Visitors believe baby born with rare disease in India is the reincarnation of a Hindu god
Let’s hope this mother will find it in her heart to love this ‘alien-like’ boy.
Mum-of-four Khalida Begum gave birth to the baby on Monday, according to reports in India. According to the Mirror the mother was ‘shocked’ when she saw the child’s small head and bulging eyes, and has rejected it.
The Mirror said that local reports claim doctors diagnosed him the with extremely rare genetic condition harlequin ichthyosis, which gives sufferers thick skin and deformed features. However, his symptoms appear to be more consistent with another rare defect called Anencephaly.
