I would also like to add my 5 cents worth on the recent improvements to Margate .
We purchased our property in Margate in 2005 and were very exited about this. We have however watched the general condition of the area deteriorate, specifically over the past four years.
We were however pleasantly surprised to see all the improvements which started a while ago and during our most recent visit two weeks ago, we could see a vast improvement in general.

There are still areas that need urgent attention, like the condition of the road surfaces, the use of alcohol in the streets at all hours of the day and night, the prostitutes roaming the streets and the school groups that litter the streets and beach areas that they visit.
I do believe however that we are on the right track and therefore would like to congratulate and thank everybody involved for the efforts that has resulted in these improvements.
I also believe that we should not stop these efforts but all of us should pull together to make Margate the jewel of the South Coast again!
