OPINION: ‘When will these posters be removed?’

Surely someone should be held to account for allowing these to make our already shabby suburbs look even tackier.

DEAR Editor,-

Driving through Woodgrange-on-Sea just outside Hibberdene last weekend, I was most surprised to see posters urging people to register to vote still adorning several lamp posts – almost a year after the campaign took place.

I stand to be corrected, but aren’t political parties fined for not removing outdated material?

And if not, surely someone should be held to account for allowing these to make our already shabby suburbs look even tackier.
