OPINION: ‘Suicide Bend’ needs urgent action’

It is time to expose the people who do not accept their responsibilities and are incompetent.

DEAR Editor,-

‘Suicide bend’ in Sunwich Port has been a source of numerous fatalities. Surely this is not a major problem to fix, but it seems that the ‘powers’ in charge are reluctant to implement corrective action.

Cameras and speed bumps would be a good start.

We had a similar problem at the Southcoast Mall with illegal U-turns and the area across from the Lower South Coast SPCA has not even been mentioned.

How many people have been killed there when it is raining?

It is time to expose the people who do not accept their responsibilities and are incompetent, as this is clearly what it is. How many times does the Herald still have to report this?
