DEAR Editor,-
The second Trafalgar Presbyterian Church golf day held at Southbroom Golf Club recently was a great success.
We raised enough money to buy four wheelchairs for South Coast Hospice and raised R18 000 towards our church roofing fund.
This was all due to the generosity of the 95 players and the kind donations and sponsorship from organisations like the Herald.
Gavin Sole and Nic van Deventer won this year’s Shield and this event will now take place annually, so look for it in next year’s Southbroom Golf Club’s calendar.
