DEAR Editor,-
Last Friday we had the misfortune of hitting a very large pothole just before Shirley Avenue in Ramsgate. Both tyres on the left-hand side were destroyed and had to be replaced.

It was our very good fortune to be assisted by two good citizens and Mauser Security. These three ‘oldies’ want to thank Debbie for fetching a ‘Tyre Weld’ from her home and Rodney for taking the wheels off, ferrying them to Margate and returning to fit the new tyres.
