OPINION: ‘Barking mad about continuous noise’

Are there any laws in place that one can resort to in order for us to enjoy our time here?

DEAR Editor,-

We have a holiday home in Bairn Street, Uvongo and enjoy coming here a few times a year and sometimes with family for a longer period over December.

YOU MIGHT ALSO BE INTERESTED INOPINION: Funfair music was vulgar and offensive

It has now become quite unbearable because the neighbours on the left have four dogs who bark continuously – day and night. Across the road there are another two dogs who also bark non-stop.

Are there any laws in place that one can resort to in order for us to enjoy our time here? Shouting at the dogs does not help and I would appreciate some advice on this.
