OPINION: ‘Customer service was praiseworthy’

Staff members did everything outside in order to accommodate and assist me in any way they could.

DEAR Editor,-

Las Friday (11th) I went to renew my driver’s licence at the Umzinto Mobile Licence Renewal Centre. Due to a knee replacement I use a walker, but I wasn’t able to climb the steps into the mobile unit.

I would like to extend my sincere thanks and appreciation to the office staff who assisted me by coming outside the unit, gave me a chair to sit on, brought the stamp pads to take my fingerprints and basically did everything outside in order to accommodate and assist me in any way they could.

It was a very kind gesture on their part for which I am truly grateful.
