Dear Editor
I appreciate the support from Roger Makings in last week’s SCH (Thank you for taking the cinema complaint seriously) which was in response to my original letter to SCH complaining about the quality of films shown at Shelly cinema & suggesting they designate one of their 7 theatres to showing films aimed at a more discerning adult audience.

My complaint was also emailed to Ster-Kinekor Head Office and after several email exchanges on 27 July I received the following email: Dear C Dutton … thank you for taking the time to contact S-K.
We will escalate this to scheduling since they decide which movie will play at which theatre”. Perhaps we can presume this was done since Dunkirk and Viceroy’s House are currently being screened, both better quality adults films, and hopefully there will be more in the pipeline.
Regards
Chloe Dutton
