What a great choice of ‘Animal Classics’ Judi Davis wrote about on South Coast Herald website! I don’t say that because Judi was kind enough to mention two of my books, but because the others she quoted are mainly ones I know and love, especially the Paul Gallico and Jack London titles.

Others Judi might have considered are Richard Adams’ ‘Watership Down’ and Henry Williamson’s ‘Tarka the Otter’, both of which I rate highly.
London’s ‘Martin Eden’ is neglected these days, which is a pity.
It’s about a writer and I like the fact that the eponymous hero, when a publisher fails to pay him, pays him a visit and throws him down the stairs. (As I remember!).
