OPINION: ‘Efficiency and friendliness is commendable’

He followed up with a phone call to make sure that we were both ok.

DEAR Editor,-

My wife and I arrived on the South Coast at the end of October, only to be met by a complete shut down of water! We own a property in Uvongo and must say that this was an experience we would sooner forget.

During this mess, both my wife and I experienced stomach infections and were forced to visit the doctor.

Our doctor in Uvongo was closed on a normal weekday for some unknown reason and we were referred to Dr Alstynn Pillay at Shelly Boulevard.

We must say that this is an excellent doctor. He was helpful, did thorough checks on both of us and explained (in finer detail) his diagnosis and treatment. His staff were just as helpful and friendly.

In fact, he followed up with a phone call to make sure that we were both ok. If one takes that my wife’s appointment was at 6 o’clock on a Sunday evening, it makes this even more outstanding.

Our sincere thanks to Dr Pillay for his efficiency and friendliness.
