It was with great excitement that I read the report in last week’s Herald about Margate moving forward.
But thanks to a bunch of yobbos, Margate beachfront was trashed this week and the town took 20 steps backwards again.
How can this be allowed to happen? Are the police and local authorities not empowered to stop such unruly behaviour?
Are there no nuisance, public indecency or drinking in public by-laws that can be enforced?
