OPINION: ‘We need to take action’

It’s a slow poison that’s killing the whole coast.

DEAR Editor,-

I read Bevis Fairbrother’s response to the water situation and understand his difficult situation as manager of the local newspaper. Nobody will get answers out of Ugu staff. They don’t care, they are on a payroll and to hell with the rest.

The long and short of the story is that Ugu destroys business and tourism. It’s a slow poison that’s killing the whole coast.

We need to take action. Stop paying water bills. Go to their offices and destroy buildings if necessary. These people have a hearing disability and it can’t go on like this – If they can’t do the job, replace them with people who can.
