DEAR Editor,-
Recent photographs show the appalling condition of roads in Umtentweni. Despite never-ending requests, most of our roads have received little or no attention from Ray Nkonyeni Municipality for most of 2017 and earlier. There are more potholes than tarmac and a 4×4 vehicle is required to negotiate most of them.

One could easily assume that roads in such poor condition were in some remote and inaccessible area rather than in a high ratepaying once sought-after residential area …
No wonder house prices have only moved downwards for years and years.
