Port Shepstone Islamic School’s prefects for 2018 were inducted last week. Iqraam Osman was selected as head boy, with Yusuf Paruk as his deputy and Mariam Nakooda serves as head girl, with Faatimah Musa as deputy.
Sporting activities kicked off with scheduled soccer matches for both boys and girls on the school’s AstroTurf courts during break.

Parents who attended the orientation programmes last week benefited immensely from the information shared regarding promotional requirements, school routines and expectations.
Comprehensive feedback was given on responses collated in the annual survey conducted towards the end of last year.
The school has adopted the ‘Water for Cape Town’ project as its outreach initiative. Sealed 5 litre water bottles will be collected during school hours until February 13. Support in alleviating the plight of the needy is always appreciated.
