OPINION: ‘New Year’s Eve is long gone, so why the posters?’

It's small things like this which contribute to the tawdry appearance the South Coast seems to acquired over the past few years.

DEAR Editor.-

Drive along Marine Drive  from Shelly beach to port Shepstone last Saturday, I was most surprised to see posters, still advertising the Southbroom New Year’s Eve party adorning the lamp posts.

We are now into February – surely organisers should have made some effort to remove these, or face being fined?

It’s small things like this which contribute to the tawdry appearance the South Coast seems to acquired over the past few years.
