OPINION: ‘Postboxes are in a sad state’

Why do we pay to annual fees for these when nobody does anything to maintain them?

DEAR Editor,-

Postbox holders in Oslo Beach are absolutely fed up with the state of the boxes on King Haakon Road.

Why do we pay annual fees for these when nobody does anything to maintain them? What are we paying for?

The boxes do not serve the purpose they were made for, since there is no longer anything to ensure that postal items stay inside the box.

People have to pick up items off the ground. It is a sad state of affairs and needs urgent action.

Why do residents on the South Coast constantly have to resort to approaching the media to get the service we pay for.
