OPINION: ‘Felicity’s kindness was the gesture of an angel’

These were the actions of a real Samaritan.

Dear Editor:

In January I had major surgery and have been making a slow recovery.

In February I went to SuperSpar at Harbour View but after a short time I felt quite ill and sat on a bench just beyond the tills. A woman came through one of the tills and after noticing that I was not well offered to do the balance of my shopping for me, giving me an opportunity to recover somewhat.

She waited until I paid for the goods and then escorted me to my car, even offering to follow me home to ensure my safe arrival.

These were the actions of a real Samaritan and I would like to bring her kindness to your readers’ notice. Unfortunately, I only know that her name is Felicity; a very suitable name as it means happiness. What an angel.
