DEAR Editor,-
I drove to the recycling station near the Port Edward Library to deposit recycling material.
I did not even get out of my car due to the stench and swarm of bluebottle flies.

This is not the first time that this site has been a pile of stinking rubbish.
Apart from being a health hazard, this is a disgrace for the town.
Residents pay rates for services and many people have made an effort to wash and deposit their recycling at this site. Now they cannot even step into the area it is so disgusting..
Leisure Bay residents are given clear plastic bags for their recycling and the municipality collects these from their pavements once a week.
We pay the same rates to RNM, so why are we not offered the same? This is such a disgrace!
