OPINION: ‘You can make a difference’

Because the municipality has not responded, we have drawn up a petition demanding action.

DEAR Editor,-

Residents of Munster are concerned about the old Protection Services’ building and Sharks Board house that have become threats to security and well-being. These ‘eyesores’ further detract from the value of property in the village.

For the past 15 years, the ratepayers’ and residents’ committee has made repeated requests to the municipality to demolish or repair these derelict buildings at the entrance.

Because the municipality has not responded, we have drawn up a petition demanding action.

Apart from Munster ratepayers or residents, we invite friends and visitors to our sports facilities to support this initiative. Please go to https://www.jotform.com/81061491514552 and ‘sign’ the petition.

The confidentiality of your personal information is protected by law and you have the assurance that your personal information will be used only for this petition. All details will be deleted once the petition process is completed.

You can make a difference and your support is greatly appreciated.
