Dear Editor,-

For a while after a public official apparently narrowly avoided an accident when the vehicle in front of him/her slammed on brakes to load up passengers, cones were placed at the roadside and traffic officers deployed to make sure traffic flowed smoothly.

Now that both cones and officers are long gone, the problem continues unabated. Surely it’s time someone in authority stepped up and implemented a solution to this problem before an accident occurs and lives are lost.
