OPINION: ‘Do you remember this incident?’

This is purely to assist me regarding an RAF claim.

DEAR Editor,-

I appeal to all South Coast residents for help.

At 6.15pm on September 25, 2015, I was attacked by two pitbulls and while trying to get away from the dogs I was hit by a car in front of number 56 Marine Drive.

I was rushed to Netcare Margate Hospital and, when my husband returned to the scene of the incident, the driver who ran into me had already left.

I need the driver to please contact me regarding this incident. All information I have about the driver is that at the time he was driving a light-coloured vehicle and was a senior citizen.

This is purely to assist me regarding an RAF claim. The accident was not his fault since I was forced to run into the road to get away from the dogs.

I can be contacted at 079 0882465 or email aletta.vanderberg@gmail.com. Thank you.
