The photo and article on the front page of a recent South Coast Herald entitled ‘Protest turns violent’ is synonymous with the rest of the daily protests countrywide – it becomes a ‘burning issue’ every time.

The irony is that the majority are ANC supporters – protesting against their inconsistent ANC governing bodies who failed to provide them with basic services, housing and so on – after 25 years of nothing.
All in all, the previous president, and now President Cyril Ramaphosa (Caesar), plays the harp while SA (Rome) is burning.
