DEAR Editor,-
It baffles me how most people place so much trust in a democratic system.
From my early years at college – it was explained to me by the Jesuit priests that democracy has no bearing on charity.

It is a pagan/Greek political system where majority rules (numbers) and has nothing to do what is right or wrong. This is the main reason why history has seen the demise of the Greeks and Romans.
During World War II, The Netherlands was occupied by Germans and I can remember that everyone always had water and lights and law and order was strictly maintained.
There were no personal attacks on people – and NO democracy.
What is happening in this country now? The ‘democratic numbers mob’ rule the streets and a failed ‘Azanian State’.
I can remember one prime minister from years ago saying, and I quote, ‘This was too ghastly to contemplate.’ He was right!
What is in store in future? Only God knows!
