OPINION: ‘Every hospital needs a ‘Patience’’

She treated me with so much friendliness and had an awesome smile.

DEAR Editor,-

I would like to commend Patience Mncube at Netcare Margate Hospital for her unbelievable help when I needed to have X-rays done recently.

I have recently moved from Johannesburg to the South Coast and being ‘new’, elderly, nervous and totally unfamiliar with a new hospital, Patience found me wandering down the passages and helped me find the place where I needed to be.

She treated me with so much friendliness and had an awesome smile. She made my day feel so bright and happy – it was unbelievable!

Thank you Patience.

We need more people like you just to remind us each and every day to nurture and care for each other to make this world a better place.

How fortunate for Netcare Margate Hospital  to have someone like you.
