I wasn’t that impressed when my husband insisted on dragging the family to the South Coast Herald’s Longest Drive competition last Sunday because I assumed it was just going to yet another golf day. How wrong I was.

There was literally something for everyone! Children had a great time at the marshmallow drive and wore themselves out on the jumping castle.
I enjoyed sipping my gin and cherry ale in the very comfortable ‘chill area’ and my husband, well, he had a golf club in hand, so he was happy.
Thank you South Coast Herald for bringing an event of this calibre to the coast.
I hope we are going to see more of this type of top notch entertainment in the future.
