Dear Editor.-
It is heartening to see the people of Xolobeni putting up a resistance against the unpleasant bully tactics of politicians and police.
There has been a murder; injuries and violations of their human rights in their bid to keep their beaches in a pure and pristine condition.

The profits made made from this semi-industrial processing of their beaches will certainly not land in the pockets of the local people.
When they leave, these deposits will be tainted by the commercial and artificial constraints of the profiteers – who are certainly no wonderful mimics of nature.
