Ephesians chapter 3 vs 20-21
20 But to Him who is able to do superabundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power which operates in us,
21 To Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus unto all the generations forever and ever.
WHEN you think it’s the end, or you just can’t go on, stop and consider the Creator.
The apostle Paul, in writing to the church at Ephesus, says that God is able to do superabundantly above all that we ask or think.
Superabundant is a more formal way of saying overabundant, meaning ‘excessive in quantity’.

Humans ask God for a lot of stuff, mostly to satisfy selfish needs if we are completely honest with ourselves.
But maybe we don’t always fully realise that there are things He can provide for us that we haven’t even thought of asking, or perhaps don’t even have the cognitive ability in our limited humanness to ask.
That’s quite a concept.
God can calm our fears about the future, and heal our pain from the past. Our part is to ask.
He extends grace to us when we mess up. He forgives, lifts up and restores.
Interestingly, the text says that that power operates in us – the power of Jesus Christ through the outworking of the Holy Spirit.
And then the focus is quickly back on God, giving Him the glory… forever and ever.
