The Rotary Club of Port Shepstone’s 55th Youth Leadership Course came to its conclusion on October 6.

It is my pleasure as Director of Youth to warmly thank President Reggie John for his full support and constant availability and everyone involved for their many contributions throughout the week.
Thank you to the Rotary Anns, who helped with the lovely food and a special thanks to Ann President Joan D’Arcy, whose assistance throughout was invaluable.
Sincere thanks to Bevis Fairbrother and the South Coast Herald for their sponsorship and also much appreciated was the contribution made by our two sister clubs.
A particular thanks goes to Dell Pendock, who was here, there and everywhere, long before, during and after the course.
Special thanks to Rowan D’Arcy, who enthusiastically made major contributions to the course.
Grateful thanks to all who assisted Dell with mentoring, including the dynamic Cathy de Boer (Hibiscus Rotary Club), for superbly coaching and mentoring the wonderful team of twelve dedicated young mentors and course leaders from Durban and the South Coast.
More thanks to Dr Dudley Forde for his assistance in the full day training of mentors at Port Shepstone Junior Primary.
The headmaster and Port Shepstone High have again demonstrated their support by enabling us to use their superb facilities at minimal cost.
The kitchen staff worked tirelessly to ensure our amazing young leaders were well-fed and felt at home. We thank them all warmly.

Kind thanks also goes to the secretarial team at Port Shepstone Junior Primary for assisting Dell when required.
