DEAR Editor,-
Following the death of my father Barry Hamburger in July, our family was so impressed with the team at Avbob Funeral Parlour in Port Shepstone.
We want to especially thank Johan Botha for going the extra mile for the family during this difficult time.

In general, thank yous and praises for local businesses get dismissed, while constant complaints of potholes are the order of the day.
Is it not time to give praise to those community members who are deserving of praise for doing more than expected for their fellow man?
The loss of my father was totally unexpected and because I live in Johannesburg, I turned to Johan, who dropped everything to attend to our needs.
He ensured that even the smallest details were taken care of.
Well done Avbob Port Shepstone – and a sincere thank you from the De Remilly and Hamburger families.
