OPINION: ‘We could learn a lesson from our neighbours’

The path itself is disgustingly dirty with broken glass all over, along with used condoms and fast food containers.

DEAR Editor,-

While on a walk in Margate recently we came across all these tablets that had been dumped in amongst the other rubbish on the rocks as you drive from the paddling pool around the first sharp bend going to the pier.

The path itself is disgustingly dirty with broken glass all over, along with used condoms and fast food containers.

Supplied.

This is really disappointing as having recently travelled through Botswana, Zimbabwe and Zambia, we are of the opinion that South Africa can take a leaf from their books when it comes to keeping the country clean.
