OPINION: ‘Note the Ward 16 voting stations’

The last registration weekend will be January 26 and 27 from 8am to 5pm.

The IEC reports that the lease agreement for Capuchin Cove has been finalised.

Herewith confirmation of voting stations for Ward 16:

1 Residents of Melville, Pumula (north of the Damba River) will vote at Capuchin Cove (Lot 110) in Capuchin Way, Pumula (previously at Southport Library or Capuchin Catholic Church);

2 Residents of Anerley between the Damba- and Mhlangakulu Rivers will vote at the Seventh Day Adventist Youth Camp in Advent Road, Anerley (previously at Southport Library);

3 Tweni, Sea Park and Southport, south of Mhkangakulu River (residents of Ward 16) will vote at the Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Abelia Road, Sea Park.

The last registration weekend will be January 26 and 27 from 8am to 5pm.

Residents can sms ID numbers to 32810 to confirm where they are registered to vote in May 2019.

Voters do not have to register again if the voting station voted at before has changed.
