OPINION: ‘Licensing headache continues’

No fingerprints were captured after the applications were sent to CPS.

DEAR Editor,-

Just the same as Syd Howe, I was informed by Umzinto Test Centre that my fingerprints were required to obtain my driver’s licence.

I was told ‘Just bring your ID book’, but upon arrival, I found that that no fingerprints were captured after the applications were sent to CPS (which issues the licences).

So, all people who applied after June 2018 and up to December 2018 will have to go back and redo their fingerprints!

FRUSTRATED AND ANNOYED
