Once again grateful thanks to Lindsay Stephenson for the donation of cat food. Our stray kitties are so grateful.

The car guards at Scottburgh Mall are so kind and helpful. Why then would someone give them fake cash? Isn’t that a tad unfair? Even cruel?

A reminder of dates to diarise:

Saturday, February 16 – a Valentine’s dinner/dance fundraiser is being held for 4 Paws and a Tale Rescue. Contact Nicky for further information at 084-6265508. This fundraiser really needs a huge amount of support. 4 Paws and a Tale Rescue do amazing work with all the strays and rescues “out there”.

Sunday, February 17: Valentine’s Day steam train ride and picnic trip. The train ride is three hours long departing from Creighton at 10am and on the return leg stopping alongside the Ngangwane River for a picnic for an hour and a half (depending on the weather). Bring along family and friends (and the Valentine) for an awesome day out in the fresh country air. The train will return to Creighton Station by 3pm. For more information, email glynnis@toocee.co.za or Rayna@futurenet.co.za.

The UMPAC 2019 cast meeting took place on Sunday, January 27 with a gathering of like-minded folk who intend pulling out all the stops to put on a fantastic show in June. Watch this space.
