In response to Syd Howe’s letter ‘Follow-up visit was a nightmare (SCH, January 18).
I hate to tell him, but his driver’s licencing trials are very likely far from over.

I went to Port Shepstone Licencing Department in June last year (more than six months ago) to renew my driver’s licence, but as yet have not received it.
The latest excuse I’ve heard is that there is a hold-up with the printing process.
I sure hope traffic officials will accept the stamped receipt I received if I’m stopped for any reason.
