DEAR Editor,-
I run a business in Port Edward and would just like to comment on Susan Smith’s letter entitled ‘Port Edward is sliding into disrepair’ (SCH February 22).
Well, we have been all over the South Coast and there are towns much worse than Port Edward, believe me!

This is MY town and I’m proud to be living here.
Yes, it’s not nice without water and electricity sometimes, but come on people, each town has its ups and downs.
I personally think it was uncalled for to place a letter in the newspaper about how bad our town is. We love Port Edward, with or without it’s problems.
