The article entitled ‘Call to repair postboxes’ (SCH February 22) refers.
The cluster boxes at Glenmore beach were not repaired by replacing the metal framework that is rusted beyond repair.

Instead, they painted over the rust-encrusted metal – as usual, a cheap repair.
Yes, the South African Post Office is bankrupt, yet it is a profit-making organisation.
Maybe they are waiting for a bailout like SA Airways, which has never ‘taken off’ to profit-making success?
Another service-delivery flop.
