Umdoni Action Group would like to thank those who have already completed the previously publicised two-minute survey, the purpose of which is to accumulate a list of complaints (e.g. unmaintained verges and common areas; non-functioning streetlights; potholes; disintegrating roads; etcetera).

UAG’s survey is open to residents of all areas within Umdoni, including Amahlongwa, Amandawe, Bazley, Elysium, Emalangeni, Kelso, Mtwalume, Park Rynie, Pennington, Scottburgh, Sezela, Umzinto. Complaints need not be limited to your home area, but can also include common areas which might affect you, e.g. beach facilities, CBD sidewalks, public parks and the like.
Although UAG has not received as many complaints as expected to represent the magnitude of decay in the Umdoni area, it is now time to close the survey and present the results thereof, in a comprehensive report to Umdoni Municipality for their attention and rectification.
UAG is appealing to those who have not yet done so, to have your say by CLICKING HERE to complete the survey.
The survey ends with a question as to whether or not you would consider a partial or total withholding of your rates payments, pending rectification by UM. The results so far are very interesting and may be published once the survey has been closed.
Your name and contact details will not be shared with parties other than UM.
Even if you have emailed your complaints directly to UM at customerservices@umdoni.gov.za you should still record your complaints in UAG’s survey, for monitoring purposes.
