OPINION: ‘Do motorists heed road signs anymore?’

If they don't see a cul-de-sac sign, would they see a 'blind crossing', 'level railroad' crossing or 'school' road sign?

DEAR Editor:

Even though we added a “dead end” sign to this cul-de-sac road sign, motorists still turned down Stephen Road on the detour when the R102 was closed.

Makes you wonder how many people take notice of road signs. Scary, to say the least!
