DEAR Editor:
Even though we added a “dead end” sign to this cul-de-sac road sign, motorists still turned down Stephen Road on the detour when the R102 was closed.

If they don’t see a cul-de-sac sign, would they see a ‘blind crossing’, ‘level railroad’ crossing or ‘school’ road sign?
Makes you wonder how many people take notice of road signs. Scary, to say the least!
