OPINION: ‘Licence renewal was a pleasure’

It took us less than 40 minutes to complete everything.

DEAR Editor,-

Our sincere thanks to the officer at Port Shepstone Licensing Department for the assistance whilst my wife and I were renewing our driver’s licences recently.

My wife suffers from emphysema and cannot walk long distances and so we decided to ‘park’ her outside with her trolley walker before entering the main building when there was enough space.

One of the officers saw us and rushed to our assistance.

We were ushered in and attended to immediately.

It took us less than 40 minutes to complete everything.

Our grateful thanks to all the staff who helped us.

It was wonderful to be looked after so well and the renewal process was indeed a pleasure.
