A big thank-you to Margate SAPS for their wonderful work in policing the St Michael’s beach area so well in recent months, ensuring that this popular beach has gone back to being a safe, peaceful, family-friendly environment.
ALSO READ : It’s official- Margate SAPS named best in the country
At one stage it was plagued by a disruptive element, which resulted in the area being regularly trashed.
Of greatest concern was all the broken glass littering the area on weekends.
St Michael’s has always been a favourite with local beachgoers and it is great to have it back again.
