OPINION: ‘Thriving trader village is left to rot’

When we asked about the department in charge, we couldn't get anywhere.

The Gamalakhe community is missing out on improving their lives through local businesses as the once-thriving business centre ‘Gamalakhe Traders Village’ (Magorha) has been ignored, vandalised and is not being used at all.

This place used to be buzzing with locals supporting small businesses like the bakery, sewing cooperatives, salon, etcetera, operating there.

When we asked about the department in charge, we couldn’t get anywhere.
