OPINION: ‘Make available the planned remedy’

It is wiser to get a seemingly confused spokesman to appreciate the scale of the disaster, lack of service, quality of water, and ancillary services.

DEAR Editor;

Dr Kobus Nel/Mr France Zama and FED UP letters and responses refer.

The immediate reaction to Mr Zama’s response to Dr Nel’s letter would have been to award him the 2021 Mampara of the year award, come what may.

It is wiser to get a seemingly confused spokesman to appreciate the scale of the disaster, lack of service, quality of water, and ancillary services.

Denial and shifting focus from the service issue is an amateurish approach. When a spokesman denies, is everyone blind but him?

The alternative is also provided by Dr. Nel, replacement by a capable taxpayer. FED UP offers further fair advice.

Come on Mr Zama, make a meaningful contribution, confirm the shortfalls, and make available the planned remedy, or even lack thereof, so this can be fixed. Please.
